Heading Home Animal Rescue

We are a non-profit organization specializing in helping local cats and dogs in our community through adoption, spay/neuter, TNR, and barn placement.

Local Sponsors

We extend our “local focus” to supporting and promoting local businesses too! Our local sponsors program focuses on supporting and creating positive relationships in the community that benefit both local business owners and local animals. A win win right?

Adopt

Looking to add a new friend to your family? Small and furry? Big and bouncy? Take a look at some of our adoptable pets! If you don’t see what you’re looking for, please contact us, we’ve got lots of animals in foster care as well.

Volunteer

Want to help the animals in your community but can’t adopt? Volunteering is a great way to help animals in need and you’ll be amazed at how much you get out of it!

Donate

Help us help more local animals in need; your generous donations go directly to their care. Because we are a 501c3 non-profit, all donations made are 100% tax deductible. We are almost exclusively volunteer run, so you can be sure your money goes to the four legged fur balls in our care.

Foster

Do you have some extra time for a few weeks and a spare bathroom or bedroom? Fostering is a great summer volunteer project for families and an opportunity to help animals in our community. We NEED YOU.

Socials

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see what we’re up to and get a peek at a few of the animals coming in to our care!

Animals In Need

We have three cats that needed eye surgery for eyelid agenesis from this one property alone. Two have already had their surgeries. The last one is booked for surgery. Please consider donating to our medical fund to help prevent the suffering of cats like these.

We always try to find the best solution for every cat to prevent suffering and promote the most humane alternatives and care for these feral and community cats. We cannot do it without your support. These cats are the most vulnerable, at risk cats in our community.

Kitten Season 2024

We are focused on prevention through aggressive spay & neuter initiatives right now. However, come Spring we will be very much in need of additional kitten foster families and volunteers.
